Meet Amani. She thrives in the clinic’s supportive atmosphere, where teamwork is key and genuine connections with patients are cherished daily. Amani’s love for meeting new people and learning from them makes her job a constant source of excitement and growth. Whether she’s expanding her skill set or communicating with patients, she approaches each day with enthusiasm and a desire to make a difference.

Outside of work, Amani enjoys unwinding with a good book, expressing her creativity through painting, and exploring Calgary’s diverse food scene. With her warm personality and passion for both professional and personal development, Amani is an integral part of the Monterey Dental team, dedicated to providing exceptional care and building meaningful relationships with everyone she meets.

Meet Vanessa. She’s all about making a positive impact on people’s oral health and finding joy in seeing patients leave with bright smiles. Vanessa loves the supportive vibe at Monterey Dental, where she grows both personally and professionally.

When it comes to sterilization, Vanessa takes pride in keeping things clean and safe. She’s all about ensuring patients and staff are protected from infections and finding fulfillment in creating a hygienic environment for everyone.

Outside of work, Vanessa’s a plant enthusiast and a crafting aficionado. Whether she’s nurturing her green friends or getting creative with crochet, she brings meticulous care and precision to everything she does.

Kelsey thrives as a Registered Dental Assistant at Monterey Dental in Calgary, where the friendly atmosphere created by coworkers and patients makes every day enjoyable. She loves the variety her job brings, from engaging conversations to diverse tasks around the office.

In her free time, Kelsey enjoys exploring art exhibits, hitting the gym, and trying out new restaurants with her sister. With her vibrant personality and dedication to patient care, Kelsey is an essential part of the Monterey Dental team, contributing to the positive environment of the practice.

Olivia Smith is a valued member of the Monterey Dental team in Calgary, serving as a dedicated Registered Dental Assistant. Drawn to the office’s welcoming family atmosphere, Olivia finds joy in assisting patients on their journey to optimal oral health. Beyond her professional duties, Olivia enjoys exploring Calgary’s cultural offerings, frequenting museums and sampling the city’s diverse culinary scene. Her passion for travel and love of literature round out her interests, making her a well-rounded and engaged member of the team.

Vanessa started at Monterey Dental in April 2018

‘I feel like I can help patients best when I can create a safe and comfortable experience. I enjoy working at Monterey because I’m constantly learning new skills and working in a fast-paced environment.’ In her spare time, she enjoys being outdoors, with her 2 boys and husband. Their favourite activities are camping going for bike rides and having movie nights.

Krista joined us in October 2010. She feels most rewarded when she’s able to help our patients to feel comfortable while in the dental chair and when she is able to assist our patients with their needs.

She loves being in the dental field as it’s fast-paced, and there’s so much room to learn even after years of working. She enjoys being in a close-knit office.

At home, Krista spends time with her husband, their one-year-old son, and French bulldog, Theo. Their family enjoys walks and outdoor activities. They love to travel and explore other countries when they can.

Krista also enjoys trying new restaurants and seeing a movie when she gets to go out without her little one.

Tricia has with the Monterey team since May 1998. She strives to guide her patients to reach and maintain their best oral health. She provides comfort and explains all dental options when treatment is needed.

She enjoys the many different types of dentistry in the office – from implants, to performing root canals as well as basic restorative procedures, and child hygiene. To her, every day brings something interesting.

When not at work, Tricia enjoys outdoor activities, reading, and shopping.

Angie became a part of the team in September 2013. She is passionate about helping our patients to feel calm and comfortable when in our office. She loves helping them overcome their dental anxiety.

In her spare time, she loves spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She also enjoys woodworking and hiking.

Trisha joined our team in December 2019. She enjoys creating a bond with her patients and educating them about their dental needs and understanding the treatment they’re receiving.

Trisha enjoys her role as a dental assistant, and she is passionate about making every patient feel comfortable and ensuring they leave happy and comfortable with their dental experience.

When not in the office, shew spends time hiking, working out, and journaling.

Myra joined Monterey Dental in January 2016. She loves working in a team environment and being a team player. Myra is a productive, motivated, reliable, and valuable member of our team.
