In addition to therapeutic uses, cosmetic enhancements are used for aesthetic purposes such as softening a gummy smile or augmenting lips. A gummy smile occurs when one’s gums appear more prominent than their teeth when smiling. Our treatments can balance the appearance of the smile by subtly altering excess gum tissue.
Lip augmentation is another popular application that enhances a youthful look by plumping up the lips. It’s essential to note that all these procedures require specialized training and should only be administered by a licensed dental professional who has undergone additional education on administering these treatments.
While generally safe, there may be some potential side effects such as temporary swelling, bruising, or redness at the injection site; however, these effects tend to be mild and usually resolve on their own within a few days
